Today I went to the Lenten station church of SS. Giovanni e Paolo. This church is dedicated to Saints John and Paul who were martyrs of Julian the Apostate's persecution in the 4th century.

I'm so glad you are doing the Station Churches! That was one of my most powerful Lenten experiences in Rome. I've been reading everyone's ROme blogs and even though I already got my semester in Rome, I'm jealous. ;-)
